The 70^th Chinese Artistic and Cultural Talent Training Class (chorus and square dance) for Overseas Chinese Cultural Community was initiated at Huaqiao University on November 21^st, recruiting over 40 core members from overseas Chinese art associations of 21 countries, including America, Canada, Austria, New Zealand, Mexico, France, Japan, Chile, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, etc., for a half-month training.

      The Chinese Artistic and Cultural Talent Training Base (music and dance), settled down in College of Music and Dance of HQU in May 2013, remains an important base for overseas Chinese culture and language education. Over the past five years, the base has held seven Chinese Artistic and Cultural Talent Training classes for trainees from more than 30 countries and regions with the courses, such as basic movements training of traditional dance, lectures on Chinese traditional culture and visits of Chinese folk culture.
