Prof. Wu Jihuai and Prof. Zhou Shufeng from Huaqiao University were named in Highly Cited Researchers 2018, in Cross-Field and Pharmacology and Toxicology respectively, released by Clarivate Analytics on November 27^th. It is a list of elite scientists selected for their exceptional research performance, as demonstrated by production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in Web of Science.

      More than 6000 highly cited researchers are recognized in 21 categories across sciences, social sciences and cross field in Highly Cited Researchers 2018. The United States ranks first with 2,639 and Britain comes in second with 546, followed by the Chinese mainland with 482. There are 12 researchers from Fujian province, among which 6 are from Fuzhou University, 4 from Xiamen University and 2 from Huaqiao University.
