The Sino-US Relations Seminar entitled Major-Country Relations after the US Midterm Elections: Trends and Challenges was held at Tsinghua University on November 11^th. The seminar was co-hosted by College of International Relations of Huaqiao University and Center for US-China Relations of Tsinghua University to discuss the trends in Sino-US relations and other major country relations after the 2018 US midterm elections.

      The seminar has attracted about 50 well-known scholars to discuss such topics as Trends and Challenges in Sino-US Relations, Trends and Challenges in Other Major Country Relations and US and Related Issues and Trends Study. The seminar was held at a time when Sino-US relations are experiencing a sensitive and delicate period. Therefore, it aroused much concern and was covered by China Central Television (CCTV) and several provincial and municipal TV stations as well.

      This seminar is an attempt by College of International Relations, one of the first think tanks with HQU characteristics, to explore new ways of collaborative innovation between universities.
