The China-ASEAN Tourism Security Research Alliance was officially launched at the China-ASEAN Tourism Security Summit held on July 24^th.

     The summit is co-proposed by ten colleges and corporations from China and ASEAN countries which are initiated by Institute of Tourism Security Research Institute of HQU and Tourism Safety Research Base of China Tourism. As an academic community based on voluntary, honesty and mutual benefit, it aims at constructing the collaborative mechanism for various types of tourism security research institutes with different levels, therefore, to enhance the cooperation of tourism security and risk management of all the members, and to promote the sustained and healthy tourism development of China-ASEAN region.

      The Alliance will focus on activities related to tourism security, holding international academic exchange, promoting cooperation in education and scientific researches among members. The members will work together to cultivate professionals to improve intellectual support, strengthen research cooperation to innovate tourism security management, deepen the security improvement cooperation to enhance the protection measures, face the security challenge together to promote the risk management. The Alliance will also establish international cooperation with other institute alliances regarding education, scientific research and culture.

      More than twenty representatives from ten countries had joined the Alliance on behalf of their own or of the organization. The Alliance was officially launched by their signing of The Charter of China-ASEAN Tourism Security Research Alliance. Meanwhile, Xiamen Declaration by China-ASEAN Tourism Safety & Security Cooperation Research Alliance has also been released.
