Culture China: the 64^th Culture China Arts (Square Dance & Chorus) Training Class for Overseas Chinese Culture Association, hosted by the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, and organized by the Training Base of Chinese Arts (Music & Dance) and Huaqiao University (HQU),  was launched in HQU . Over 50 elites from 13 countries' culture associations including the USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Korea, Belgium and South Africa etc., will study here for two weeks.

      The training class offers both practice and theory courses, including more than ten practice courses like Chinese Drumming, Silk Dance, Yangko of Han Nationality, Lotus Dragon Dance, Layout for Festival Dance, Scientific Singing, Rehearsal for Chorus and Choral Conducting, and theory courses, such as Introduction to Chorus Art, Musical Works Appreciation, and so on. Learners will also enjoy folk customs and art of southern Fujian, appreciate Yangko, practice square dance and participate in the joint performance. The class aims to build a communicative platform for overseas Chinese to learn and spread Chinese culture by improving their Chinese arts skills.

       The Training Base of Chinese Arts (Music & Dance) was founded in the College of Music & Dance, Huaqiao University, in May 2013. There have been six training classes with over four hundred trainees, being the backbone of promoting Chinese traditional culture in more than 30 countries and areas.
