The Award Ceremony of the 3rd International Micro Film Competition
     

      HQU micro film Cloud in the Sea Sky (Director: Wu Xuan; Organizer: Fan Jiashu; Producers: Lu Linmao; Li Zixuan; Lu Jiaolan; Xue Xintong; Starring: Jiang Wenting; Duan Yuzhu; Jiang Chengzhi; Ji Liying; Stage managers: Xiong Kun; Gao Lu; Zhang Xueqing; Li Qiuping; Advisors: Guo Yanmei; Huang Zhihao; Zhu Zhijun; Zhang Wei) has won the excellent award in the 3rd International Micro Film Competition, a part of the annual Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, held on March 28th, 2018.
      Cloud in the Sea Sky was written, directed and acted by students from the School of Journalism and Communication, HQU, most of whom are also members of the Time-Travel Drama Club at HQU. The film originally tells a story that contains fantastic elements in a bold and innovative way, showing both the destinies of those nobodies over the century and the strong bond between people on both sides of the Straits. It took a whole year to produce the film, which was shot in places with Southern Fujian features, such as Kulangsu (Gulangyu) in Xiamen.
